taking off without letting anyone know is  bad example on your part, tell them you dont value the team to let them know of your unavailability

these things will help you grow and be a better person

Sudden lay-off shows the client is unorganized with no look ahead planning and suddenly realized/woke up from their slumber and just sending you away to save their ass/job or the contractor’s performance/behavior was below average.

alanti contract unte entha lekunte entha? Find a better client. Any professionally managed client should be able to give  up to 30 day or more notice easily as long as your performance was satisfactory.

Even a school kid needs a written explanation if he is going to be off. A company is a profit oriented business. What did you think when you took off without notice which is just a matter of email/text? If you own a business and hire workers to help you and you depend on them to get work done and they take off without notice irresponsibly causing you revenue losses, what would you do?

Notice goes either way. It’s purpose is to help the worker/client find next job/resource without much inconvenience. Many states have “work at Will” which means we can quit at any time without notice. But giving adequate notice from either side is a matter of decency
