Someone ate Maurizio Cattelan's $120,000 banana at a Miami art fair

A piece of art worth $120,000 by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan — a banana stuck to a wall with tape — has been eaten by a different artist. New York-based performance artist David Datuna peeled Comedian (2019) off the wall at Art Basel Miami Beach on Saturday and ate it in front of a crowd.
