i do have extr anavicular bone in my fooot it is similar to yours but in a differen place..no use of pain killers dont use them daily unless excess pain..Exericses  for foot strengthening  cheshtaa vundali..change the shoe or sandals to support your foot...

Hi riashli, I have same problem too.. since 15yrs. Their is no cure for it, you can just alleviate your pain with stretches. Spur causes inflammation in the heel tissue and this causes plantar fasciitis. 
Dog pose and stretching your heel will give you little relief. Do it frequently.

If you have swelling in the ankle, place your ankle on the pillow and rest well. 
check your foot wear. Flats and Heels will cause you more pain. Look for some good arch support foot wear.
