అమిత్ షాపై ఆంక్షలు విధించే యోచనలో అమెరికా కమిషన్?

పౌరసత్వ సవరణ బిల్లుకు నిన్న లోక్ సభ ఆమోదం తెలిపిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ బిల్లుకు రాజ్యసభ ఆమోదముద్ర వేస్తే అది చట్ట రూపం దాల్చుతుంది. మరోవైపు ఈ బిల్లుపై అమెరికాకు చెందిన అంతర్జాతీయ మత స్వేచ్ఛ కమిషన్ (ఫెడరల్ యూఎస్ కమిషన్ ఆన్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ రెలిజియస్ ఫ్రీడం) తీవ్ర ఆందోళనను వ్యక్తం చేసింది. తప్పుడు మార్గంలో ప్రమాదకరమైన మలుపుగా ఈ బిల్లును అభివర్ణించింది.

లోక్ సభలో ఈ బిల్లు ఆమోదం పొందడం కలవరపరుస్తోందని ఓ ప్రకటన ద్వారా తెలిపింది. పార్లమెంటు ఉభయసభల్లో ఈ బిల్లు ఆమోదం పొందితే... కేంద్ర హోం మంత్రి అమిత్ షాతో పాటు, ఇతర కీలక నేతలపై ఆంక్షలు విధించాలంటూ అమెరికా ప్రభుత్వానికి సూచించింది. లోక్ సభలో అమిత్ షా ప్రవేశపెట్టిన బిల్లు పూర్తిగా మతపరమైనదిగా ఉందని కమిషన్ వ్యాఖ్యానించింది.

పాకిస్థాన్, బంగ్లాదేశ్, ఆఫ్ఘనిస్థాన్ దేశాల నుంచి వలస వచ్చి మన దేశంలో ఆశ్రయం పొందుతున్న హిందువులు, సిక్కులు, బౌద్దులు, జైనులు, క్రైస్తవులు, పార్సీలకు భారత పౌరసత్వం కల్పించేందుకు ఈ బిల్లును కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకొచ్చింది. ఈ బిల్లు ప్రకారం 2014 డిసెంబర్ 31కి ముందు మన దేశంలోకి వచ్చిన ఈ మతాల వారిని అక్రమ వలసదారులుగా గుర్తించరు. వారికి పౌరసత్వం కల్పించి భారతీయ పౌరులుగా గుర్తిస్తారు. అయితే, ఈ బిల్లు మత వివక్షను సూచిస్తోందని కొన్ని విపక్ష పార్టీలు ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశాయి.

First of all how do they determine religion of the immigrants or seeking asylum. Passport or some other proof of that specific country untadi ga usually, adichustharu, dhantlo religion untadha, or by name decide chesthara, then they'll be at the mercy of the officer adjudicating the application.
