I too heard from my native town residents that the case was settled outside the court but didn't know the details of it...it was a gory crime which should have been pursued instead of out of court settlement...but em chesthamu Paisa mein paramathma...! The court reduced Siddharth Reddy's jail term of 6 years to 2 years, imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 on charges of abetment of suicide, and 1 year of imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1,000 for attempting suicide.
