BJP vasthe caste politics em chaavavu. In fact BJP itself is roping in someone who has caste numbers behind him. The two top castes that have been in power in AP are very rich and don’t ever want to see a day when someone from PK’s community is at the helm. 
 

Beyond these reasons, the population demographics are not conducive enough for it. About 40% of the voters will not even look at BJP. There is also no valid reason that centre parties will do good for the states. Congress was in power for 60 years and AP barely developed.

Baboo compare AP with TN where there was no central govt. When AP came out of Madras state, the literacy rate was 12%. After 70 years, the literacy rate in AP is 67% whereas in TN it is 80%. GDP Percapita in TN is close to 3000$ whereas it is only 2000$ in AP. Life expectancy in TN is 70 whereas it is 67 in AP. Human development Index is 0.7 in TN whereas it is 0.64( one of the lowest in the country). Where is this big benefit that the central parties are getting to the states? In fact, when local parties came into AP ( when TDP came to power) there was a spike in literacy rates from 44% to 60% and a decade of Congress rule gave us only a rise of 7% and it stands at 67% now. I bet many indicators are like this as well. Let us not live in a dream world. AP is truly the worst in development overall and the blame lies with the center for whom AP MPs are merely numbers. Intha worst ga unnadhi Northie politicians valle. No need.
