i totally agree with you bro.  I'm in the same boat where i compare with top 2% above me even though i have fantastic life.

Desire is different from ambition. Your ambition should be higher than the highest point in the ladder, then you can compare with people higher up on the ladder to motivate you to climb up the ladder. If you compare with people below you in the ladder, you will go down.

It is not comparison ,  Take motivation from the people who are above you.
