Rey, where did our surnames come from?

Also lot of surnames are name of villages .. i know two surnames from Vizag and Nellore whose with villages in Warangal district 

The someone said .. the Neni in Kammas came from Naidus, Reddy came from raithu ... etc

How the fcuk is Chowdary and Choudhari different ??

I know atleast 3 guys from different castes with surname Koduri/koduru/kodur ..
