Since you have only 2 days to go to countries other than France (paris) such as Brussels etc, you may consider taking train that way you wont be tired and stressed.

immigration happens only once when you land in any of the schengen countries and there is no immigration when you visit other schengen countries.

Hi Bro, when I applied Schengen visa for my mom, who has USA vistors visa also at Italy consulate in India. It took only 1 week. But it strictly varies depending on case by case. so its recommended applying in advance (2-3 months if possible). Also make sure  documentation is correct.
