The proposal to have executive capital in Visakhapatnam is something that the politicians from the three north coastal districts and East Godavari district are welcoming. The political equations would change with the capital moving to Visakhapatnam for all practical purposes. Though shifting the entire executive might take a couple of years, the ruling YSR Congress seems to have taken the political advantage. The Left parties have no stakes on this issue. Whatever the Jana Sena speaks will certainly not help Pawan Kalyan, as it is scripted for and by the TDP. Finally, with all political parties, particularly the BJP, welcoming it and the TDP scared of making any political statement, the YSR Congress is flying high, as its political strategy worked well.
