Protests continue throughout India despite bans on public gatherings

Police forces across India imposed laws banning gatherings of four or more people due to protests over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. The demonstrations went ahead in spite of the ban, with protesters being detained in multiple states around the country.

They imposed 144 on entire up. Entire 2 lak square kms you can t assemble more than three. Not just cities where protests can happen. Is this a democracy or empire
