In this genration girl or boy same. Girls are also capable of education and job i dont understand how they miss this simple thing. Coming to marriage, if he is rxpecting dowry from his son then thats complete foolish.

There is a lot of future in a little girl than making her a bride one day. If a father is only concerned about paying dowry for his kids, these kind of things happen. As a father, you want your daughter to have a bright future and be independent and successful. You don't want to worry about giving her away when she is a baby. That's the reason why we still see female infenticide.
