Saudi Arabia has been known to have educational institutions that are only meant for teaching Islamic studies. Infact this is why the National statistics show that youth are unemployable. How is learning Islam going to feed their stomach? Ofcourse the Government is ridiculously rich that they don't care about educating their citizens. I am not talking about foreign professors at KAUST. A lot of them were Asian professors who left KAUST because it was not liveable.

You need to have some sort of competency to be rich and maintain it .. don’t you think ?

my standard of reference is india compared with which it is very impressive.

I don't know why you're going back to India when your right comparison should be Iran. What Saudi Arabia is obsessed with is showing Sunni domination in the Middle East which was once ruled by Shia Muslims.

What they gave the world is Islamic terror organizations. The reason a lot of the western world with Islamic terrorism is because of Saudi Arabia. Why blame Shia Muslims when all the extremism is coming from Sunni extremists?

You aren’t really that knowledgeable about Shia Sunni things. Shias are also horribly fanatic.  There is an age old Shia Sunni rivalry there. They will sort it out. Manamantha severe stands theesukonakkarle.

Besides, this argument doesn't even answer the question I posed. The Saudi education is obsessed with teaching Islamic studies for free. What good is that? How is Islamic studies going to feed you?

So, you don't think Sunnis are oppressing Shias in Saudi Arabia? Do you know atleast one international terrorist organization plotted by Shia Muslims? Like I said, all major terrorist bombing that put Islamic terrorism on International Media have been funded by Sunni extremists.

Don’t you understand how silly your concern is. They are already well fed - very well fed infact . Then why do worry about how their education will feed them. They obviously know what they are doing and it’s working for them . They are very rich.

Well because you claim that Iran has been putting up a SHiit show, while they have been way better off in providing proper education to their citizens when compared to Saudi. Iran has shown much more prowess by showing how independent they are despite supression from the US. Saudi on the other hand has been putting a puppet show to counter Shia domination by Iran. For a Muslim world that is largely dominated by Sunni Muslims, Iran has been doing a lot better in showing the world that they can be independent and still function against oppression.

Are you kidding me again? You think they don't need education because the Government gives them free food? Maybe in your dreams.

The Saudi government discloses little official data about its poorest citizens. But press reports and private estimates suggest that between 2 million and 4 million of the country's native Saudis live on less than about $530 a month – about $17 a day – considered the poverty line in Saudi Arabia.

The poverty rate among Saudis continues to rise as youth unemployment skyrockets. More than two-thirds of Saudis are under 30, and nearly three-quarters of all unemployed Saudis are in their 20s, according to government statistics.

They spend way less on education and healthcare when compared to defense funding as well as funding for militant groups in the rest of the world. There is no one to question the Supreme leader because of the hell state of affairs of the country and you think it's a great Nation.

If saudi govt does not disclose how do these people know. Saudis are rich ok? It is ridiculous to pretend they are poor and worry about whether they can feed themselves. Especially coming from an indian.

Author Karen House highlights these issues in her book On Saudi Arabia. Most of the oil revenue flows right into the hands of the royal family. At least 80 percent of the revenue in the Saudi treasury comes from petroleum, but the average Saudi citizen does not benefit from those gains. The central government in Riyadh, where the royal family is settled, receives most of the oil profits. This sustains a strong monarchy and keeps the majority poor and powerless. The public simply has no say in how the government spends its money.

So, you're obsessed about Hindu domination against Muslims but not obsessed with Sunni domination against Shias? Why this selective amnesia?
