OFcourse there are externalities - he cant control everything. But if it is a good thing then it behoves on everyone to take it forward. The idea behind amaravati is this :

a) Provide a flat well planned layout astoounding 24000 acres

b) Bring entire state government there - do you know the budget of state govt is around 170,000 crores thats like already having a 25 billion dollar company headquarter there

c) Using the govt as anchor client, availability of flat land and basic infra (roads, drainages supposed to cost around 16000 crores around a number of years) attract private clients of repute known for their quality of construction - such as singapore.

d) get good quality educational and medical facilties (few already came) to ensure basic needs of high earners are taken care.

Why would such a plan fail ? the only criticial thing is getting land. and CBN solved it.

I think you have no idea about govt financing. Govt prints money as long money creates economy and doesn’t waste it will fetch returns without inflation.

morover spending 16000 crores across 5 years is not a huge burden for AP whose budgets expenses are close to 2 lac crores every year.

you guys lack basic understanding of everything. So sad.
