Mukesh Ambani made Rs 331 crore per day in 2019

India's business tycoon Mukesh Ambani made a fortune of $17 billion to his wealth as of December 23rd 2019. This is the most by any in the Asian continent and according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his net worth total is about $60.8 billion.

The surge in Ambani's assets is mainly attributed to 40 per cent jump in shares of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). If the $17 billion is classified, the elder Ambani made Rs 331 crore per day which is unbelievable and unimaginable.

Mukesh Ambani surpassed the likes of Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma, who managed to make $11.3 billion. Ever since Jio was launched in the year 2016, Reliance shares get jumping up and up. The another factor responsible for Reliance share surging is Mukesh Ambani's announcement to make RIL a debt-free company by 2021.

As of March 31st this year, RIL had net debt of 1.54 trillion rupees and in order to clear the debts, Mukesh Ambani planned to sell a stake in Reliance's oil-to-chemicals business to Saudi Arabian Oil Co. But things did not go as per the plan.

Investors are hopeful that Mukesh Ambani will make even more in 2020 and are watchful of his strategies to make RIL debt free.
