is it costly than a regular apartment ?

i heard high raise apartment top floor lo electricity per unit rate will be double when compared to lower floor flats. Is it true ?

what about water usage charges ? High floor flats ki water pumping cost ekkuva ani cheppi will they charge more ? 
 

Any idea ? Pl share

High rise units sft cost ekkuva vuntadi when we buy. 

But not sure about maintenance

maintenance will be same no matter wherever you are, although a lot of high rises and newer apartment communities are self sufficient for community needs with solar power generation etc

Maintenance 1-2 rupees per sft..irrespective of the floor.. electricity , water inka emina unte  anni same untai... Don't worry.

 Only while buying builder charges extra per sft based on the floor adi Valla business... Konnaka motham common normal..

yes agree builder charges 20 rupees extra per sqft per floor starting from. 6th floor 

But regarding the electricity - 

recently someone told me That, because high raise apartments needs to maintain a small Electricity substation in their compound to provide electricity without any fluctuations  to all flats.... government will send only 1 electricity bill to the whole 400-500 flats and this electricity bill is divided amount the flats by the apartment management

another theory I heard is that the apartment management will charge 7 rupees per unit for the flat which are on the top 5 floors like floor 25 to 30

 floors 1 to 10 will be charged around 3 rupees per unit (Standard government rate) Etc.

Floor ni base chesukoni maintenance charges vundavu. Same for all floors.

electricity commercial rate instead of residential. Water bill sharing between all flats if you dont have individual meters.
