I am planning to open NRE/NRO account. Can any one suggest me which bank is hassle free from your experience ICICI,CITI, Axis or any other bank.

I am looking for first hand experience.Thanks in advance.

Hdfc better man..recently  someone in family did it process was smooth..online request petite personal ga call chesi proper ga guide chesaru...documents pickup arranged by DHL account was open in just week later... process smooth

non nre/nro account manam maintain cheyocha?

Nre is funded from overseas i.e. you can send money from abroad into India account..

Nro you can deposit money from India also you can also send money from USA to in this account..

 

Once money deposited for reverse transfer from INR to USD you can only do through NRE..so people  always suggest to open both NRO and NRE for multipurpose..

Yes bank offer high interest rates @ 6% . Using since few years. Decent service.

hdfc has good customer service from my expereince. but can we have a regular account instead of nre/nro account?
