#AmravatiRow: Heritage to sue YSRCP leaders

Yesterday YSRCP leaders Ambati Rambabu and Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy have alleged that Insider-Trading happened in Amaravati and Heritage group has brought 15 acres of land in the capital region for nominal prices.

Reacting to these allegations, Heritage Foods Limited, company president M Sambasiva Rao rubbished them in a statement and added they are contemplating to take legal action against those who make such false allegations. Mr. Rao said the Heritage reputation is getting damaged because of such baseless accusations and in spite of clarifying on them earlier, it is unfortunate that time and again, they are repeating.

Revealing more details of Heritage land purchase in Amaravati, Mr. Rao said, the purchased land in 2014 by Heritage is not located in any of the 29 villages of Amaravati capital area and during the same period, the company has bought lands in several states too.

"The 14.22 acres land acquired at Kantheru village is meant for setting up dairy factory and not for trading purpose. Kantheru is located 20 kilometres away from capital region and out of the 14.22 acres, 4.55 acres of land purchase was cancelled due to disputes," said the statement of Mr. Rao.
