My thoughts about moving the capital to Vizag

amaravathi was the capital as cbn owns lands around that region...vizag is the proposed capital as Jagan owns many lands around vizag ourskirts....govt or vizag people doesn't care if some person in kadapa does not know abt it or cannot reach it in few hrs...talking abt geography you can reach to vizag within hrs if you go to the nearest airport and fly down within few hrs if you really have an emergency to reach out to the secretariat or meet the CM one on one...vizag is at the center of the east coast of india which makes it accessible to all the country unlike our labor state leaders who projected it as the corner and inaccessible, the joke is its the only place in this labor state AP which is accesible from any major city or major countries in the world via air, sea and road...and people in our labor state AP have a lot of time to waste so travelling another few hrs if you really want to come over is ok, and if they dont want to come or develop a connection thats very good as well ,as we dont want scum from other places to ruin our beautiful city! and more over the gdp of vizag is almost 40% of HYD as of now even though it is neglected by all the state govts since last 50 yrs and it grew all by it self with some support from the center.We are not intrested in the capital nor we cared for it nor we beeged anyone for it...you can see none of the vizagites gave a fck abt his capital,,,,,its just Jagan wants to get a higher value for his lands by making vizag as the capital as he cannot get that equity from his lands which are located in other parts of this labor state ani maa @tom bhayya uncle seppammannaru

So all it matters is how good that place is to settle down. If economy and jobs flourish in that area people and investments will always come regardless of how far is that place from your original hometowns or geography of that place.

Vizag is a lovely city , distance does not matter in the long run , it is already some what a developed city compared to other cities in Andhra so there need not be a huge expenditure to build from scratch

Having said that , changing capitals sets a bad precedent , who knows , 10 years from now , someone else may not like this and shift it again 

Common people are the ultimate losers , the rich and the powerful will benefits as always

by your logic, southern ap can access chennai, south west can access bangalore, central can access Hyd..

so what can northern ap people do? Now, they have vizag. happy for them.

Anthem Kani duram ani sadavadam or job cheyadam apesinava. FYI, checkout the capital cities Chennai, Bangalore or Kolkata for Tamilnadu and Karnataka ekkado mulaki untai. Amaravati ni develop cheyalante oka 100 years padtadi. Jagan gadu chesindi 100% correct instead of building a city from scratch he picked another big city to make it even bigger.

That's what I mean too Vizag will be only accessible to Northern AP people..

Something in central AP would have been equidistant. In a way CBN wasn't wrong, now when I think about it..

also only 3 cities in India can claim to be truly ahead with a modern market that is not going to be affected by any outside factors, like country slowing down... Mumbi, Delhi and now bangalore... rest all cities are just avg or above avg. Hyd isn't in that list.

Vizag can overtake hyd with the right investment. lets say of a semiconductor fab plant there, and a startup culture around it. 

yeah, it requires people from other states to rush into it, but u cant say that vizag can't overtake Hyd, because Hyd is not bangalore or delhi or mumbai.

Jagan is simply trying to repeat CBN's mistake by picking a place where they gathered lands and he will lose most of central AP by doing this. East West are always volatile and if he loses a couple of districts is seema like ATP he will be in a soup..

What makes you think that there will be more opportunities in Vizag compared to Hyderabad in the future.. Hyderabad already has a big head start.. ap people also have many cities that are close to them and they familiar with

if cbn really had any intention of creating a hyd like city in AP, he should have put all his eggs in Vizag in 2014 itself.

I didn't say 'will have'. I said theres a possibility. because Hyd is overrated, especially by comparing itself with bangalore. Hyd has a long way to go to become unbeatable like bangalore.
