I don't know about it

But generally what i have heard is 

They start preventive fires to burn up the dried twigs 

May this is one of reason too

I have seen news fire fighters from around the globe going to help Aussie in stopping the forest fires

yes California nunchi veltaru..as I know of.

preventive fires cheyadaniki kuda bhayapaddaru because of lack of water and previous experiences.....and it worsened

ikkada fires aina kuda, water issue ledu..anduke nettukostunnaru....but in Aussie..water is scarce

Agreed

I think Australia was same thing  all the time for most part of human history until 18 th century the country was never explored.

Unlike India where we had near to perfect weather and plenty of water for human survival
