Toyota to build a smart city at the base of Mt Fuji

The automaker’s CEO Akio Toyoda announced at CES 2020 on Tuesday that the company will build the “town of the future,” called Woven City, which will be home to residents and researchers who will test and develop technologies such as robotics, smart homes and artificial intelligence. The groundbreaking site is planned for early 2021.
