Hi Folks,

Unfortunately one of my colleague went through a DUI which was diverted in to DWI in 2015 in the state of KS. As it is been five years, it has been expunged couple of months ago, now he is in the process of securing a Full time. The question is "Does this show up on the background check" which will be done in the employment process? Is there a way that I can verify this? please advise..

Thanks.

HR ki cheppali as far as i know.

Depends on the kind of Job. If it is an IT job, it shouldn't be an issue for hiring. Seems like he is convicted for the offense. If convicted, it might show in his background check since it could be a misdemeanor or felony. Its better to disclose it if there is an option. But, it should affect his hiring if it is IT job.

Full Time కాబట్టి compulsory గ చెక్ చేస్తారు.... ముందుగానే చెప్పటం బెటర్ ... అప్లికేషన్ ఫారం లో ఆప్షన్ ఉందా చెక్ చెయ్యమను ...

naa paatha client ki 2 DUI 's or felony ayithe not allowed but misdemeanour or 1 DUI is allowed...better to ask them their policy first hand
