It depends on client not technology,  but for long term suggest to avoid it, you will.loose synch with team , visibility unless you are dedicated learning new technologies consistently kastam

This is correct some client allow remote so they dont have to provide office space another infrastructure..I know two places who are high on remote..one in UHG (Minneapolis) other one BCBSM (michigan..they call it as bluespace)

 

Long time back in worked fulltime remote for 1 yr for Kaiser Permanente in LA..

Even Statefarm Bloomington IL did this when 1000s of consultants  poured in 2012 -13 where they had major systems rewrite
