The Supreme Court announced its verdict on petitions against the internet and communication blackout imposed in Jammu and Kashmir. This comes as the Kashmir valley continues to face a shutdown of communications since Article 370 of the Constitution was repealed. The court ruled for all orders imposing restrictions to be published so that they can be challenged in courts of law.

Supreme Court will announce its verdict soon on pleas challenging the restrictions imposed in  Kashmir since August 5 after the Centre revoked the region’s special status. The top court had reserved its ruling on the matter on November 27.
