Elizabeth Warren confirms Bernie Sanders said he didn’t think a woman could win the presidency

Elizabeth Warren has confirmed several reports about a 2018 meeting between herself and Bernie Sanders in which they disagreed on whether a woman could win the 2020 presidential election. "Among the topics that came up was what would happen if Democrats nominated a female candidate. I thought a woman could win; he disagreed," Warren said in a statement. Sanders denied the comment.
