My kids are also OCI and for school fees its not NRI fees but normal regular fees we are paying.

Its only during college level OCI kids may be charged NRI fees and even this varies from college to college.

So dont believe all rumours and enjoy in India.

Ofcourse if you are planning to join your kids in International school then school fees are ofcourse high else regular CBSE schools OCI kids are treated on par with Indian kids with regards to fees structure.

India citizens or NRI, andhariki same fee bro. 1 rupee kuda ekkuva thesukoru, no donations. govt strict order ichindi, i'm talking about Hyd.

Fee is same for every student and its like thiis:

  • Oakridge international / Santa Maria or other equal international schools ->  2.5 to 4 lakhs range depending on class
  • Delhi public school or Mount litera Zee school -->   1.5 to 2.5 L
  • Third class english medium school -> 40K to 80K
  • Govt schools -> 200 Rs annual fee.

No donations these days, international, global, continental, extra-terrestrial ani puttalu puttalu schools establish ayinayi, student leka eegalu tharumukuntunnaru, donation ante g tho navvi inko school ku velthunnaru parents, lots and lots of options unnayi

Ho to apply for this? Process enti?

oci India nunchi Ela apply Cheyali?

I suggest to get OCI card in US itself, very very simple and easy process there.

India lo apply cheyali ante chaala pedha process. But if r kid is infant or less than 5 yr old, If you want go for OCI card india for some reasons,  whenever possible for you call FRRO office once you reach India.

Get a copy of Birth certificate Apostille, check with UPS notary guy, he'll guide you.

Not much time for me to apply for oci.

Let me know if you have any idea of applying oci from India.

also apostille is mandatory? If so can I get in ups store?
