some auto analysts say  TATA infected JLR with its cheap build quality mentality and the JLR brand image in that aspect went completely doen the drain

JLR vehicles made during TATA's reign are rated to not even hold up 45% of the purchase value after 3 yrs , lowest only beating Fiat -Chrysler group vehicles.

No it won't. Tata customers and JLR customers won't sit in same table ever in their life.

Poor Tata marketing department killed Tata nano, not nano himself.

JLR team is British.

Price drop is common for many luxury brands. Even BMW 7 series has huge drop. Tata using R&D and platforms from JLR will help both the companies. As far as the designs are concerned, it shouldnt be an since Tata cars are not sold allover the world except for third world countries. But, eventually, Tata could use this acquisition to gobally sell its own branded cars.

Ford explorer looks like Range Rover. Many ford cars and SUVs shared platform with JLR when JLR was under Ford. Does ford explorer impact Range Rovers brand? I dont think so. Similary, i dont think these new tata models wouldnt impact JLR brand either.
