most common cause of sore throat is viral infection which resolves on it's own doesn't require any treatment

if the sore throat stays more than 7 days consult a physician can be a strep bacterial infection

get plenty of sleep

drink plenty of fluids

warm liquid like soups or tea can help

gargle salt water
