don't give money to anyone, when asked say that you have loan of 1 cr or so

Its all depends on their needs [room rent vs hospital bills] and your capabilities [settled vs struggling life].

Few people think money comes and goes but not lives. Few think otherwise/materialistically.

For minor needs, Apply same policy as playing in casino, play with money which you can afford to loose it, not more than that.

For major needs, add humanity along with it.
