Boeing says that the 737 MAX will return mid-2020

Confirming an earlier CNBC scoop on the plane model's return to the skies, the aerospace company stated that the "estimate is informed by our experience to date with the certification process." Boeing added that "returning the MAX safely to service is our number one priority, and we are confident that will happen."

I have no clue how will they fix this without re designing the body and going through the entirely new certification y FAA ... I think its almost impossible to have a bigger engine on the smaller body that was designed in 70s

ala patching chesthe ne ila aindi... its not a software issue, the height of the plane doesnt support those bigger engines... they were trying to compete with A320 NEO which did something similar but I think thats a little taller plane
