Millions in lockdown as coronavirus fear grips Wuhan and surrounding cities

Wuhan, China, where the deadly virus originated, has temporarily closed all outbound public transportation, flights and trains in an attempt to limit the spread of the pneumonia-like coronavirus. Surrounding cities Huanggang and Ezhou have taken similar measures. The outbreak has killed an estimated 17 people and sickened more than 500 patients. The World Health Organization declined to make a decision regarding whether the mysterious disease is an international emergency.
