Turkey records more than 500 aftershocks since Friday's deadly earthquake

The country's Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported on Saturday that 505 aftershocks ranging from magnitude 1.0 to 5.1 have been felt. On Friday, a magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the Elazığ province, killing at least 22 people and injuring more than 1,000. Some reports suggest that the quake was 6.8 magnitude.
