Manchester United Football Club confirmed they were made aware of the "unwarranted" attack on executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward's Cheshire home. The club issued a statement saying they are working with the Greater Manchester Police to identify the perpetrators. Woodward was not present at his home at the time of the attack.
