My opinion .... Many are asking to increase to income tax slab rate to 5% upto 7 lakhs 

its a reasonable ask from salaried employees 

but rather than doing this - government can provide more incentives and tax benefits for home loans and investment in Mutual Funds/ Government Funds so that people will invest the earned money in these which helps in growth of real estate and also financial sector etc. - these sectors will them employ more people and so again it’s a benefit .....
