• Garbiñe Muguruza took down Simona Halep 7-6 7-5 to advance to the women’s singles final
• Australia’s Ash Barty lost to to Sofia Kenin 7-6(6) 7-5 in the other women’s semifinal
• Dominic Thiem takes on Alexander Zverev in the second men’s semi on Friday

expected result.. Federer started off great in the first set but ran out of steam .. and it was pretty much downhill thereafter.. hopefully Thiem or Sasha wins.. we need young blood...
