I heard that after port of entry(at Boston), need to collect the bags. Could someone please tell me where to drop the bags. have a connecting flight (Jet Blue).

please share the process in detail after landing at Boston. This info will be very much helpful for my parents.

Thank you.

Terminal E is international arrivals.

After you pick up baggage.. .you have to go to Terminal C by walk or bus.

make sure you inform airline or staff about your transfer, if you have less time

Boston airport is pretty straight forward. Follow this

1. Finish immigration

2. Pickup your bags and go through customs

3. Make a left turn and the baggage transfer area is right there.

4. Drop your bags at the baggage transfer area and head to domestic terminal.

5. You just have a small outside road crossing to domestic terminal.

I think Jet Blue and Emirates share the same terminal. It is much easier if they are arriving via Emirates.

My question was, after customs we need to collect the bags and drop them nearby, how to find this dropping place. after dropping we can then proceed to domestic terminal.

sorry to confuse you. i think you can drop the bags at emirates transfer desk if they take it(if they are open). or else you might just need to walk or take a shuttle to terminal C with baggage.

i dont remember a jetblue counter in Terminal E.

Its different terminal, Jet Blue in C. and E is only for International.

After immigration we need to collect the baggage and take them to the baggage transfer area, TSA will assist us in dropping the baggage based on boarding pass. Then we are good to go to domestic term.
