ah  for you bro...thats a lot of money! I spent nearly $1000 (H4 extension application fee + attorney fees). EAD We apply by ourselves.

I sent you a message about attorney details, please check.  See travel is not mandatory, H4 status is fine as long as your H4 extension application is sent to USCIS. Travel depends on your interest and situations. Consult attorney if you consider traveling.
