Someone in my circle suggested to learn java. How do you compare them - complexity, number of jobs, rates, etc? I would prefer something that I learn once and don’t have to keep learning it or its newer libraries, frameworks, etc for the rest of my life.

How short are tableau projects? What rates are we talking? I’m an independent contractor on c2c through my own company.
