Ever hear a song and the lyrics hit you like a mack truck? Here I am driving home...Hakuna Matata...and then Selena Gomez's "Lose You to Love Me" comes on the radio. Definitely not going through anything like that now, but few years ago, I was at one of my lowest points. This young lady just reminded me of my sunken place. Damn, Selena. You did that! I bawled the whole ride home. I realized that although I forgave that person a long time ago - resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die - I hadn't forgiven myself for being so naive. Narcissism is a mental disorder, and I'm nobody's psychiatrist. 🤡 🧠 I love hard and will never apologize for having a big heart. Today, I decided to forgive myself. Better late than never. ❤ #3amthoughts
