Hello everyone.....

Ante direct I-485 file cheyinchukovacha US citizen tho?

If your relative is already in the United States and a visa is available, they may be eligible to get their Green Card by filing Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.

2012 lo chala mandiki GC lo vachai..and all of them are citizens now..

until 2017 the wait times were around 5 yrs or less..kaani after 2017 ..its started piling up..

2012 -> batch become citizens and applied the siblings who came for masters, jobs or even who are in india..and valla families and kids...

current scenario cut cheste 2004 date...and wait times of 10+ years

No, it usually takes 12 years ..current date is 2004.

even if u are in US, you cannot file 485 , you have to wait for ur PD become current.

2004 antey 16 years wait no

I'm trying to understand the difference.....like filing for someone who is not even in US vs already in US......processing times

a line ki difference chepta vinu..

in case sibling is in India,  F4 application nuvvu India embassy lo submit cheyali, then the embassy will call siblings for interview and doc submission. avanni ayyaka...PD current ainappudu meeku GC la kosam foto digankie pilustam appudu randi antaru..

assume dates are current in our discussion, appudu visa availability undi kabatti valla processing tondarga ayi GC istaru and they can apply for SSN from India itself or at CBP.

second case if sibling is already in US...and visa availability is there (F4 is current anuko)..appudu he still have to wait for GC..but can apply for I-485 ..which gives him permission to work.
