AP Govt To Set Up Three Entities For  Effective Services To Various Sectors

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh cabinet on Wednesday which met here under the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, resolved to establish Andhra Pradesh State Financial Services Ltd, AP State Agriculture Council and AP Green Energy Corporation Ltd.

Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation Limited would be set up for proper utilisation of surplus funds. Similarly, the Cabinet has decided to set up AP State Agricultural Council as never before in the country for a regulating mechanism in the provision of quality seeds, fertilizer and pesticides to farmers.

The Agriculture Council would also supervise and regulate the functioning of agriculture and horticulture colleges in the state and accord recognition to them. It would also monitor the functioning of public and private organisations in the sector. It would also be a regulating mechanism in the provision of quality seeds, fertilizer and pesticides to farmers.

AP Green Energy Corporation Ltd.

The Cabinet has also taken a decision to set up Andhra Pradesh Green Energy Corporation Limited (APGECL) for providing free power for nine hours in the day time to the agricultural sector through solar power projects with a capacity of 10,000 Mega Watts. Power would be given free of cost to farmers and at a subsidy to the aqua farmers.

The Central Non-conventional Energy Resources Ministry provides a financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh per MW. This facility would be utilised for the establishment of solar power projects. Similarly, AP Green Energy Corporation Limited would be established which would be managed by the APGenco for which 18 posts have been sanctioned including that of chairman and managing director.

As per the recommendations of the Cabinet Sub-Committee it has been decided to increase the compensation to the orchards which have incurred a loss. It was also decided to set up a new fire station at Vempalle in YSR Kadapa district.

Other point in the article.... Kani in the article they have mentioned surplus funds.... State deficit lo undi ante ... inka surplus ekkada nunchi coming ..

Coming to free 9 hr power to farmers is good too ... But the point to be noted is from Solar Power antunadu... Do we currently have that kind of capacity to deliver....[IMG]

But for a long run if implemented these are good programs .... Have to see how Long will they take to the implemented ...[IMG]
