Hero Srikanth's father passes away

Actor Srikanth's father Meka Parameswara Rao has breathed his last during the wee hours of Monday. The 70 year old is said to be suffering from lung related issues and was getting treated at a private hospital in Hyderabad since four months.

On Sunday, Parameswara Rao's condition got worse and finally he closed his eyes permanently. He is survived by his wife Jhansi Laxmi and three children. Parameswara Rao hails from Mekavaripalem in Krishna district but got settled in Basavapalem village in Gangavati district, Karnataka.

Tollywood celebrities have paid homage to Srikanth's family who resides in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The last rites are expected to be held at Filmnagar crematorium.
