Ramanaidu Studios Turning Into Gated Community?

From couple of days, it is being heard that the famous Ramanaidu Studios will get demolished soon and a huge gated community will be built there. This is not regarding the prime time Ramnaidu Studio situated in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, but the plans are about the one situated in Nanakramguda. Once on the outskirts of Hyderabad, this has now become a 5-minute walk from Financial District and already there are huge residential colonies around it. 

A news article in a leading daily even went on saying that the total Nanakramguda studio cost is now at 400 crores and constructing a residential complex will get Suresh Babu more than 1000 crores profits. They say that the studio is bringing him only 2 crores profit per year, and that's why the leading producer wanted to demolish it. And then, he will be focusing on Vizag Studio, and develop the film industry there. 

Long back when Superstar Krishna sold Padmayala Studios to a private Mumbai company, and then when K Raghavendra Rao has setup a mall in his land (Cinemax, Banjara Hills), Telangana folks like Harish Rao expressed their displeasure over the development and knocked court doors too. As those lands are given for free to these film celebs for the sake of developing the film industry in Hyderabad, many leaders felt that selling them for business purpose is not the right thing. 

Taking cognizance of this, the likes of Prasad Labs, who actually wanted to construct a huge mall in the vacant space behind the lab building, actually dropped the idea. Similarly, the plans to bifurcate Padmayala land and build a residential complex in the heart of Jubilee Hills are also put on the back burner. And now, the talk of demolishing Ramanaidu Studios to build a huge gated community sounds pretty surprising as well as shocking in this connection.

Ivanni government assigned lands. I dont think they can just sell like that. Even Raghavendar Rao's cinemax property has several law suites going on..

Nanakramguda is not government land .... Its private ....So they are free to sell...
