KCR's daughter defeat is a lesson: BJP minister

Union railway minister Piyush Goyal asked the Telangana government on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Piyush was in Hyderabad for the inauguration of satellite railway station at Cherlapalli and also wifi services to 427 railway stations in the state.

Before that Piyush went to BJP office in Kukatpalli and met BJP leaders. After the meeting Piyush addressed the media and slammed KCR led TRS government. "By defeating KCR's daughter from Nizamabad, people of Telangana have sent strong signals. BJP will definitely get back its glory in the state and we have seen this in the Lok Sabha and Municipal elections," said Piyush.

On the CAA, the central minister found fault with KCR and Hyderabad MP Owaisi. "KCR is acting at the behest of Owaisi and is indulging in petty politics. KCR and his son KTR have no knowledge about Centre's contribution and so they are blaming us. BJP government in New Delhi will support Telangana by all means," added Piyush.

At the satellite railway station inauguration, Piyush also countered minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's comment that Centre is not supporting Telangana railway projects and ignoring south India. To this Piysuh replied that the UPA government has allotted only Rs 258 crore to Telangana in their tenure whereas BJP government has allocated Rs 2602 crore for the year 2020-2021. It would be wise if minister had known about the budget details and then talk in public.
