Here is my thought . People who stay here permanently would definitely put their kid in Telugu classes . Is it for the love of Telugu language ? No . But so that kid not left out by his extended family who are back in india .Also encourages kids interact with parents in the language parents are comfortable with . And also it is awesome to know multiple languages . ABCD effect ki balance . 
 

People who are in AP give don’t care about Telugu why ? Because Telugu language is not helping in anyway to earn money . But English can take you to places . Even if you have Telugu phd and do not know how to speak a sentence in English you are considered illiterate by Telugu peeps .
