Oka company ki 100 million stocks  unnayi and each is worth 50 cents anuko,  they can reverse split to change the amount.

 

FOr example, they can reverse split 10:1 meaning, they will have 10 million stocks and each is worth  $5. If you have 500, it will automatically change to 50 stocks 

In another example,  if the same company reverse split, 5:1, then they will have 20 million stocks and each is worth $2.5. If you have 500, it will automatically change to 100 stocks
