Union Railways ministry states that DPR on 6 rail routes apart Mumbai to Ahmedabad would be prepared . The identified corridors are Delhi -Varanasi , Delhi-Ahmedabad , Mumbai-Hyderabad , Mumbai-Nagpur , Delhi-Amritsar and Chennai-Mysore .

Vikarabad , Rangareddy and Hyderabad districts may benefit from this .
