Looks like it's their mistake. Both must be driving high speed, especially f-150. When a truck it that size at high speed hits, no car is safe. Physics - weight is all that matters, no amount of safety features will make much difference. 

This is why some wealthy people give trucks and big SUVs even to their kids. Biggest car is safest car... My previous boss said this when I asked him " doesn't your daughter wants to drive a sedan?" His reply - yes, but I'd rather give my big truck to her rather than getting a "toy sedan" ...make sense

Per the news - F- 150 is driving straight and has green light. 

Flashing left light is for Divya - she thought she can make the turn but t-boned by SUV.
