My son is in 9th grade. He is playing American Football since his second grade. He is Quarterback in 9th grade foot ball team. I dont know anything about this game. I have tried to stop him but he wont listen. He will love this game and he will sleep with the football.

Vaadiki entha kasi ante...early morning 5:00 AM ki ready ayii ground ki velathaadu. Marala evening 2 hours practice chesthaadu. Memu entha cheppina vinadau.  By the way he in h4

He got selected as Quarterback after several rounds of filter. He has passion and he is very tall and lean. He is good at studies also.

Encourage him. It is very easy to get into college with a good highschool football profile. If he can really enter NFL, he will qualify for a green card under extraordinary ability..

Very Nice @dal123, Encourage him, he looks passionate about the sport. Who knows he can be QB for an NFL team. That's will be a proud moment.  (Patrick Mahomes is only 24 and won Superbowl Already)

Learn the rules, I think you will like the game once you understand the rules.

You need to put serious effort if the kid is passionate about the game. I know the game is dangerous but it is what it is....

excellent. this should be the norm for a growing kid. phyiscal activities is more important for overall growth. especially in team sports..they get exposed various traits of life, which a regular teaching cant explain or show
