He seems to be working as solution architect in Salesforce. Company gives insurance by default.

First of all for what happened to this guy. But I don't understand these go funds. I pay nearly 300$ in life insurance every month, so that my family doesn't have to go thru issues if something happens. Is it right that all these guys don't pay anything upfront for their families and their families create go funds like this after? how is it fair to anyone? It looks like he got a nice house too. Working in IT, I am sure he earned well.
